국문초록 : 

디지털 인문학은 ‘디지털’이 테크놀로지적 범주에서 더 나아가 하나의 문명적 흐름으로서 인류의 전반에 영향을 미치면서 새롭게 태동한 용어로 범세계적으로 관심을 끌고 있다. 특히 초기의 인문정보의 디지털화에서 더 나아가 디지털적 방법론을 활용한 인문적 사유로서 디지털 시대의 인문학으로서 인식되기 시작했다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 인문학이 어떻게 정의되고 있으며, 무엇을 논의해야 하는지, 향후 어떻게 나아가야 할지에 대한 연구문제를 설정하였고, 이를 각각 디지털 인문학의 개념과 현황, 디지털 인문학의 쟁점, 디지털 인문학의 방향 모색의 순서로 논의를 전개하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 현재 이론적 논의가 시작되고 있는 디지털 인문학을 정리하고, 이를 바탕으로 디지털 인문학이 나아가야 할 방향 모색을 시도하였다는 점에 의의를 두고자 한다. 먼저 디지털 인문학의 어원적 정의를 확인하고, 국내·외의 학자들의 다양한 디지털 인문학에 대한 정의를 살펴보았다. 이후 다양한 국가적 맥락에서 나타나는 디지털 인문학의 현황 점검을 통해 아직까지 디지털 인문학의 개념이 ‘모호한 용어’로 사용되고 있으며, 국가별로 문화와 디지털을 바라보는 방식에 따라 방향의 차이가 존재함을 확인하였다. 다음으로 디지털 인문학의 쟁점 탐색을 통해 디지털 인문학의 내·외적 측면에서의 여섯 가지 쟁점들을 통해 디지털 인문학의 정체성을 탐색하고, 발전하기 위해 향후 어떤 논의들이 확산되어야 할지에 대하여 제시해 보았다. 마지막으로 이러한 논의들을 바탕으로 향후 디지털 인문학이 나아가야 할 방향을 제도적 측면, 연구·교육적 측면, 활용적 측면에서 모색해 보았으며 국외의 사례를 바탕으로 보완 및 비판·수용의 과정을 거쳐 통합 네트워크의 구축과 학제 간 연구가 더욱 중요해질 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 시작으로 디지털 인문학이 ‘학(學)으로서의’ 정체성을 가지기 위해서는 앞으로도 많은 논의와 담론 형성이 필요하며, 국내의 맥락에서 디지털 인문학이 체계적으로 정의되고 이론적 기반이 구축되었을 때, 향후 학문으로서의 위상을 획득할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

영문초록 : 

Digital humanities draw world’s attention as new generated terms by more advancing from technology category. By advancing from beginning humane information, it is beginning to realize as digital era of humanities. This research determine that how we define the humanities and what should we discussion and direction of humanities. And we have made in order as concept and current status of humanities, issue of digital humanities, direction of digital humanities. Through this sequence, we discuss digital humanities and base on the discussion we will figure out the direction of digital humanities. First we find out etymology of digital humanities. And verify definition of digital humanities from domestic and foreign scholar. And through current status of digital humanities, we verify that used ambiguity terms in digital humanities and distinction for the handling way of digital humanities from each country. Second through issue of digital humanities, we verify identity of humanities and suggesting what should discuss for advancing digital humanities. Third through this discussion, we verify that the way of digital humanities by considering from institutional, study and educational, utilization. Through domestic and foreign case of digital humanities for the acceptance, countermeasure and criticism, we establish integral network. Through this research, digital humanities need to lots of discussion to have identity as scholarship. And we expect that digital humanities will get status when digital humanities is established in theory and systematically.

바로 : 재미있는 논문이었음. 다만 미묘하게 "다른" 부분이 있었음. 기왕 이런 논문 적을 거면 단순히 문헌만으로 비교하기보다는 인터뷰까지도 하시는 편이 더 좋지 않았을까 싶음.
